Welcome to Gyloper Travel Agency Norway. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Gyloper Travel Agency Norway website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Gyloper Travel Agency Norway provides travel planning, booking, and consultation services including but not limited to:

• Norwegian fjord cruises and tours
• Northern Lights adventures and safaris
• Hiking and trekking tours in Norwegian mountains
• Scenic rail journeys (Flåm Railway, Bergen Railway, etc.)
• Cultural experiences with Sami communities
• Accommodation bookings throughout Norway
• Travel insurance coordination

3. Booking and Payments

All travel bookings are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the service providers (tour operators, hotels, transportation companies, etc.).

3.1 Deposits and Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure bookings. Full payment is required 60 days before departure for Norway tours, unless otherwise specified.

3.2 Price Changes

Prices are in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) and are subject to change until full payment is received due to factors beyond our control including currency fluctuations, VAT changes, and supplier price adjustments.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by supplier and will be communicated at the time of booking. Generally for Norway tours:

• Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure may receive a partial refund, minus non-refundable deposits and fees.
• Cancellations within 60 days of departure typically receive no refund.
• Some suppliers may offer credit for future travel in lieu of refunds.
• Northern Lights tours are subject to weather conditions; refunds are not provided for poor visibility.

Gyloper Travel Agency Norway's service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced on your itinerary.

5. Travel Documents and Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid travel documents including passports, visas (if required for Norway entry), and any required vaccinations. We will provide guidance but cannot be held responsible for denied entry or travel interruptions due to improper documentation.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and other unforeseen circumstances. We can assist with insurance purchases but the choice and coverage are your responsibility.

7. Limitation of Liability

Gyloper Travel Agency Norway acts as an intermediary between you and travel service providers. We are not liable for any acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any supplier or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages resulting therefrom.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, government travel advisories, terrorism, disease outbreaks, strikes, or supplier failures.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website including text, graphics, logos, and images is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
